Hello,
Can you post some more info about the wireless sensor network?
It seems you've foun a cheap solution, but i can't find these chacon devices.
Thanks

Hello.
The devices I used on my house were these:

Bought them at a local bricolage store.

Thank you for your help.
I'll use them in the next phase.
Now i'm building the temperature control, and want to have some sensors, one for each room, and two for the outside.
It seems i'll need an xbee net.
Thanks again

Great project and well presented on this website, well done. I'm attempting to run the code myslef on an Arduino Uno with Ethernet shield. First issue is, the sketch appears to be too big to fit, does this sound correct? When i comment out the Scheduler function, the sketch does upload successfully. Next question is, could i put the images on the SD card which plugs into the ethernet shield? Lastly, I changed the output pin for the pantry light to 13 in order to test code. Unfortunately the built in LED does not turn on. I do see activity on the network LEDs though when i press the buttons. Can you offer any advice on this? Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Martin

Damn I replied to this message over a week ago but my reply seems to be lost... :s
Anyway, the SD card thing simply won't happen on a 32K arduino since the ethernet + webserver + SD libraries alone would take most of the memory alone, there wouldn't be enough space the other stuff...
I'm currently working on a new version that is way more advanced than this one, however it will require an Arduino mega or a compatible clone. In the new version you don't need to change the code at all, everything can be configured in the browser.
I hope to have a new site up and running in a couple weeks, I will leave a forwarding address here when it's done ;)

Thanks for the reply Tarquinio. I do have a Mega lying around somewhere. I believed its wired to an led coffee table at the moment! Really looking forward to version 2.0, its sounds incredible! You ever thought of becoming a home automation installer using your project?

Cool so you will be able to try it out soonish. :) One cool feature of the new version is that you can try a demo of the new iterface without even using an Arduino, since the configuration is all done in the browser.
The code is mostly done, just sorting out some bugs, what's going to take more time is making the new site.
I never thought much about mass producing anything, I prefer to keep inventing new stuff :)
